I am Sharon Weaver and I am an Independent Civil Celebrant.
Based in Staffordshire and West Midlands.

I have a lot of experience as a celebrant and have been lucky to have the choice of when and where I work.
I know only too well what it is like to lose a soulmate. Remembering my husband Dan Weaver who passed away in May 2020. He fully supported me on my journey as a Civil Celebrant and facilitated my need to help the children that leave us far too early.
I love what I do, I take great care to get things right, listening to what people want and priding myself on delivering that. I have a great sense of humour, and I am kind and caring above all else.
I cover South Staffordshire, Cannock, Burntwood, Hednesford, Lichfield, Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield and surrounding areas.
If you are thinking of a particular theme for your service, then we together can make that happen. I embrace that and will look forward to putting it all into action.
There is an old saying, if there were no weddings and funerals, family and friends would probably not get together.
The problem is, nowadays there are fewer and fewer ceremonies being held.
Celebrants reflect the individuality of people, their beliefs and their intentions towards each other. Making the ceremony meaningful, wonderful and memorable.
Celebrant services are becoming increasingly more popular, giving people choice as one service choice does not fit all.
All you need is a short registration of marriage service and the wedding of your dreams can follow either on the same day or at another time chosen by you and your loved one.

I know my style is quite relaxed, but I am happy to officiate in more grand, formal venues as well as on beaches, woodland and even the back garden.
Whether you're having a wedding in a hotel, a festival wedding with yurts and straw bales, or a couples only wedding in your favourite place I can help you create the ceremony that is right for you.
FUNERALS

Hopefully I will be the person you have been looking for to help you give your loved one a truly unique and individual send off.
Often people do not realise that they have choices and may be steered towards a religious minister, even though the person that has died may have had little or no religious beliefs.
I am happy to include some, or no religious content if that is what you would like.
Often when someone has died, people are so overwhelmed by grief that they are just grateful to take any advise they are given.
Nowadays, 75% percent of people have no religious beliefs at all, I focus more on the person.
I am happy to include hymns, or no hymns, readings, prayers or rock music. The choice is yours totally.
